Unlike scripted shows that tend to be all reruns during the Summer months, reality TV shows offer up brand new programming. FOX just announced their premiere dates for their Summer reality TV season. One of the biggest shows of the Summer is So You Think You Can Dance, which is from the producers of American Idol. The show is hosted by Cat Deeley.
So You Think You Can Dance had a breakout season last Summer and joined the upper echelon of reality TV shows. Season four of So You Think You Can Dance will start with a two-night, four-hour premiere. The premiere episodes will air on Thursday, May 22 from 8 PM to10 PM ET/PT and on Wednesday, May 28 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET/PT on FOX.
After the So You Think You Can Dance audition episodes wrap-up, the weekly performance shows will air on Wednesdays from 8 PM to 10 PM ET/PT and the weekly results shows will air on Thursdays from 9 PM to 10 PM ET/PT on FOX.
Other reality TV series returning to FOX with all-new episodes this Summer include The Moment Of Truth, Hell’s Kitchen, Cops, and America’s Most Wanted. The Moment Of Truth will premiere on Thursday, June 12 from 8 PM to 9 PM. Hell’s Kitchen will premiere on Tuesday, April 1 from 9 PM to 10 PM ET/PT. Cops and America’s Most Wanted will continue with all new episodes on Saturday nights.
Fox will also be introducing a brand new reality TV series this Summer. When Women Rule The World will premiere with a special two-hour episode on Monday, June 2 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET/PT on FOX. The series is set in a primitive, remote location and focuses on what happens when a group of women rule over a group of unsuspecting men. The regularly scheduled time period for the series of 9 PM to 10 PM ET/PT will begin on Monday, June 9.
