It’s Beauty Against the Geek

It must be the season of reality show shake-ups. First American Idol decides to change things around by letting contestants play their own musical instruments while singing. And now, the Beauties and the Geeks will be facing off.
The new season of the CW’s Beauty and the Geek, beginning on March 11th, will bring nine new beauties and nine new geeks to the screen. But, in a change of format, no longer will the beauties and geeks be pairing up, but will be pitted against one another instead.
With no beauties to lean on for help, the geeks will have to undertake such challenges as joining Dr. Drew on Loveline and giving style tips for make-unders. The beauties will have no geeks in their back pockets to help them with such challenges as fixing plumbing problems.
In another first for the show, the two teams will oppose one another in an episode of daytime’s The Young and the Restless.
Beauty and the Geek premieres Tuesday, March 11 at 8:00 PM (ET) on the CW.
