On this week’s episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Ty Pennington and his team pay a visit to the Turner family in Fairmont, West Virginia. The Turner family is a real life Brady Bunch with a blended family of seven.

The Turner family consists of Angie and Richard Turner, Angie’s daughter Theresa, Angie’s sons Tyron and Desmond, Richard’s daughter Layton, and Richard’s cousin Michael. In addition to their own children, Angie and Richard Turner work with local youth through coaching football, basketball and cheerleading, fundraising and mentoring.

Also, the Turners work as care takers for mentally challenged adults. The Turner’s dream is to one day open up their own business to help the mentally challenged. However, the Turner’s home is less than 600 square feet and is rotting. The floors are unstable and kitchen cabinets are falling off. The home obviously is too small for a family of seven, and there isn’t enough sleeping space for everyone. The two daughters share a bed, while the two sons and the cousin sleep on the floor.

Ty Pennington, the designers, local builder Huffman Corporation and the hundreds of volunteers and workers will rebuild the Turner family home, while the family vacations at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. The design team includes Tanya McQueen, Didiayer, Ed Sanders and Eduardo Xol. Extreme Makeover Home Edition airs on Sunday, March 9 from 8 PM to 9 PM on ABC.
