Work Out’s Brian Peeler to Biggest Loser’s Jillian Michaels: Give Me a Call!

March 17, 2008 12:21 PM by Jennifer_Brown

Jillian-Michaels-Courtesy-NBCBravo’s Work Out trainer Brian Peeler has a message to send to The Biggest Loser’s Jillian Michaels: Call me.

When asked in a recent exclusive interview with Reality TV Magazine which Biggest Loser trainer he’d most like to go head-to-head against, the Work Out star answered with little hesitation.

“I’d love to go against Jillian because her personality is like mine…When I go into the gym, I’m loud.”

One very important job of a personal trainer, according to Peeler, is to “put your client in a spotlight,” and pump them up – sometimes loudly – to succeed. “You’ve got to spotlight [your clients] and make them do it,Jillian does that,” he says.

Nothing personal against Loser’s other trainer, Bob Harper. In fact, Peeler has good things to say about Bob as well. “Bob’s good. He’s an emotional guy.” But it’s Jillianwho he feels a more kindred connection with, and guesses his similarity to Jillian would make them a force to be reckoned with, should they ever decide to pair up.

“I’d like to partner up with Jillian and do a show. I’d like to meet her,” he says. “If you talk to [her], tell her to give Peeler a call. He wants to talk to [her.]”

I have to say I was a big fan of Jackie Warner. I admired her guts and fortitude. But after the episode where she fired Peeler. I actually think she is a pompus ***. The person who should have been fired was her coniving assistant. If Jackie is too stupid to see that (or maybe she isn’t and she has put the assistant up to it) She has lost all respect from me. The fact that she allowed those types of comments to be said in front of her and about someone in her facility is so juvenile and unprofessional. She should have taken a tongue lashing from Brian. Whether she likes him or not SHE WAS WRONG. And to have used it as an excuse to fire him, truly made her look like a pathetic soul. Sorry I am not going to be watching that show anymore. A**holes are born every minute and that does not mean reality TV should applaud them.

From the moment Brian Peeler opened his mouth on episode 1 of Workout, I could not stand him. He was very arrogant and domineering. His behavior towards other trainers on the show and towards Jackie, his EMPLOYER (who built up her OWN business and gave him a JOB), was very aggressive and hostile. He seemed to seek out drama in order to assert himself over others. He blew up small situations (like Jesse calling Rebecca a slut as a joke, and Jackie’s comments about his client’s breast implants, when she didn’t KNOW the woman had breast cancer) as excuses to get aggressive and domineering with people. He always wanted to be putting somebody in there place, like an Alpha Dawg I guess. I can’t believe Jackie Warner tolerated this asshole for two years. I don’t imagine a strong woman like Jillian Michaels would put up with him for very long either. He needs to go back to North Carolina if he hasn’t already.
