Simon Cowell Gives Big to Celebrity Apprentice Charity…

If watching Simon go all soft around puppies during American Idol auditions doesn’t do enough to prove that the tough Brit has a soft heart, tuning in to the Celebrity Apprentice season finale might do the trick.
The final two celebs, Piers Morgan andTrace Adkins,battle it out tonight with a charity auction and concert event, aimed at raising big dough for charity. The auctionis filled with star-studded unique items, including a $10,000 Madison Avenueshopping spree with Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka.
Just as the auctioneer gets the bidding started for the shop-til-you-drop-a-thon with Miss Trump, Piers receives a phone call from none other than American Idol’s (and Piers’ fellow Britain’s Got Talent) judge Simon Cowell.
After everyone gets a few “boo’s” in for fun, Piers gets down to the business of squeezing some pounds…er, dollars out of Simon. “I need you to deliver a win for Britain,” Piers says.
Simon makes it clear that he’s doing this for the charity, not for Piers personally, and then engages in a bidding war with a gentleman at the auction.
