Cops Airs 20th Anniversary Special

April 05, 2008 01:11 AM by Joe Reality

Cops Logo FoxCops is marking two decades of following police officers in their jobs. To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Cops is presenting a one hour retrospective on memorable scenes. The promo for the episode promises “classic Cops car chases, super-inebriated suspects, sizzling Tasers, disheartening domestics, problematic perps and gutsy officers from coast to coast.”

Some of the stories highlighted include Fresno, California officers stopping a stony suspect, who claims he’s not driving under the influence. However, the suspect has a joint tucked behind his ear that is clearly visible to the officers.

Also, a male cross dresser in a leopard one-piece is questioned in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A massive python in a residence wrestles with Buffalo, New York officers. An intoxicated suspect in Kansas City, Missouri falls on his face. Passaic County, New Jersey officers rescue a man trapped in a raging river.

Cops 20th Anniversary Special airs on Saturday, April 5 from 8 PM to 9 PM ET/PT on FOX.
