Tonight the Dancing with the Stars celebs will be mopping the floor with their Paso Dobles and Viennese Waltzes, but as the competition pushes on, it’s the results shows that are becoming more and more entertaining.
Dancing has been outdoing itself with results show talent, bringing in the Jonas Brothers and Kylie Minogue, along with Cirque du Soleil dancers and the Alvin Ailey dancers. This week will be no exception, as Dancing’s results show lineup promises to be another star-studded and busy variety show.
First, mega-star singer Sheryl Crowe will hit the stage to perform the song “Out of Our Heads” from her new album “Detours” (in stores now), along with a performance by the 2006 World Showdance Champions Delyan Terziev and Boriana Deltcheva. Crowe will also perform “All I Want to Do” (try to get that one out of your head after the show, I dare you!), along with dancing pros Kim Johnson, Edyta Sliwinska, Tony Dovolani, and Fabian Sanchez.
Later, for the first time ever, there will be a live ballroom dancing competition…for kids. Two teams, nine-years old and under, will compete, and judges Len, Bruno, and Carrie Ann will choose a “winner,” who will come back later in the season to perform again.
At the end of the night, of course, one of the remaining celebrity competitors will go home, based on a combination of judges’ scores and viewer votes. The following teams remain in the competition:
* Adam Carolla & Julianne Hough
* Mario & Karina Smirnoff
* Cristian de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke
* Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska
* Shannon Elizabeth & Derek Hough
* Marlee Matlin & Fabian Sanchez
* Priscilla Presley & Louis van Amstel
* Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani
* Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas
Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8:00 PM (ET) and Tuesdays at 9:00 PM (ET) on ABC.
