The Bachelor Goes Skiing…

April 14, 2008 11:16 AM by Jennifer_Brown

The-Bachelor-Courtesy-Adam-Larkey/ABCLooking hot in a furry parka while hitting the slopes and then later cuddling up for warmth with a sexy London Bachelor? Does it get better than that? For some of Matt Grant’s bachelorettes it’s almost more than they can handle, as this week’s episode turns into a total catfight!

Tonight, Matt goes on two one-on-one dates and a group date while in Sun Valley, Idaho, in preparation to whittle the dating pool down to the final lucky four.

Matt takes Amanda, Marshana, Robin, and Shayne for a group date on the slopes. Amanda and Marshana have never skied before and have to get some extra attention from Matt as he tries to help them master the mountain (Aw, poor things). Shayne, an expert snowboarder (and gymnast, and actress, and hottie… sheesh, is she a doctor, too?!), gets an intimate kiss from Matt, but is interrupted when Robin, upset that Matt’s not spent enough time with her, barges in for some one-on-one with Matt. After skiing, the ladies join Matt in a spa trip.

Chelsea enjoys a one-on-one with Matt this week, but Matt worries that he doesn’t feel enough chemistry with her. Are they really just good friends? But Chelsea reassures him, during a private dinner, that she’s the one for him, and they seal the deal by spending some alone time in his cabin.

Noelle, too, will get some alone time with Matt, ice skating under the stars. Overcome by shyness, Noelle stands a chance of blowing her opportunity to get to know Matt better. But thank goodness for warm cabins — as the couple kisses in front of the fire, Noelle’s shyness melts away.

Meanwhile, back at the ski condo, the bachelorettes engage in a royal catfight, almost coming to blows, until Shayne steps in and acts as peacemaker.

The rose ceremony is full of surprises as Matt questions one woman’s interest in having a connection with the other girls rather than with him, while he also questions another woman’s overconfidence. Someone is completely shocked to be eliminated.

The four women left standing at the end of the rose ceremony will be taking Matt to meet their families.

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 10:00 PM (ET) on ABC. Catch this episode tonight, April 14, 2008.
