Jeffrey Steele to Join Judging Panel of Nashville Star…

Nashville-Star-LogoNashville Star ain’t foolin’ around when it comes to bringing in the big name talent for their upcoming season. Yesterday it was announced that award-winning songwriter and hit-making producer, Jeffrey Steele will be joining Jewel and John Rich on the judging panel of Nashville Star season 6.

Steele can be credited for writing and producing songs for such country music power hitters as Montgomery Gentry, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts and VanZant, among many others. Steele produced Montgomery Gentry’s album “My Town” and “Some People Change,” and is the writer behind Rascal Flatts’ Grammy Award-nominated hit “What Hurts the Most.”

Country music superstar (and Hannah Montana daddy) Billy Ray Cyrus will host Nashville Star 6.

Nashville Star season 6 will premiere Monday, June 9th at 9:30 PM (ET) on NBC, and will continue with live 90-minute episodes each Monday after the premiere.
