Dancing with the Stars is known for its star-studded results shows. On Tuesday, May 6th, Dancing will be celebrating their 100th episode, which means the celebrities will be coming out of the woodwork.
“It’s such an honor to reach our 100th show still going strong,” said executive producer Conrad Green. “It’s been great to bring dancing back to primetime with a family-friendly show. Our 100th celebration will bring back many of our favorite past stars for new performances, and is one of the most exciting and ambitious results shows we’ve ever made.”
Fans of season four will be happy to see Apolo Anton Ohno and Julianne Hough hit the stage for a special performance, while season five devotees (and Maks fans currently suffering withdrawal) will get to see Mel B and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dance as well. Also making appearances will be past contestants Sabrina Bryan, Joey Fatone, Master P., Jerry Rice, Jane Seymour, Jerry Springer and Wayne Newton among others.
Look for show highlights as well and a Macy’s Stars of Dance performance that will feature season two’s Mario Lopez, who will dance a routine from the Broadway hit, A Chorus Line (in which he’s currently performing).
But, sadly, all good things must come to end… at the end of the night, one of this season’s celebs will be eliminated from the competition, based on judges’ scores and viewer votes.
