Dateline NBC to Talk to Victims of a Reality Show Gone Bad…

May 01, 2008 05:39 AM by Jennifer_Brown

NBC-LogoIt was the modeling reality show from hell. At least that’s what a group of ladies are claiming–and they’re bringing their cameraman to back them up.

On Friday, May 2nd, Dateline NBC’s Chris Hansen will be talking to a group of ladies who signed up for what they thought was a modeling-themed reality TV show in Texas. However, the ladies claim, it wasn’t long before “reality” meant nightmarishly difficult physical challenges and some eyebrow-raising interactions with the host off-camera.

The ladies will be joined by their cameraman, a former freelancer for NBC News, who tipped off Dateline after his reality show paycheck never turned up. The cameraman will be bringing along video footage of the reality show in question to prove the ladies’ allegations.

Mum’s the word for now on the name of the reality show taking the Dateline heat. Will this be a look into reality TV that fans have never seen before? And will it open the door for more claims of reality mistreatment?

Dateline NBC’s Chris Hansen reports on the Texas model reality show gone bad on Friday, May 2nd, at 9:00 PM (ET) on NBC.
