Dog Poised to Sniff Out Bail-Jumpers This Summer…

Dog-Bounty-Hunter-Courtesy-RTVMDwayne Chapman (AKA: Dog, the Bounty Hunter) has been off-air long enough and is ready to come back! This summer he’s poised to be back on the streets with his crew and his cameras and get back to the business of putting away bad guys.

Fans of The Dog may remember that last fall his A&E hit show, Dog, the Bounty Hunter, was yanked off the air after a taped telephone conversation was leaked to the press by his son. In the conversation, Chapman made some racist comments about his son’s African-American girlfriend.

After the tape was released, Chapman wasted no time in apologizing for his actions, saying, “I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term…” Apparently the apology worked, as A&E decided that all was forgiven and The Dog could come back.

And finally we have some idea of when that will be. Word has it that we can look to see Dog, the Bounty Hunter back on air in late June, with reruns airing beginning June 25th and new episodes following soon after on A&E.
