Remember when John Rich of Big and Rich, Nashville Star, was hammering Paula Abdul and American Idol in general. He claimed that Nashville Star would be different and treat the contestants with respect and so on. Well here’s some big news. Nashville Star producers decided they needed a “hearthrob hottie” to round out the top twelve. Since they did not like anyone in their 35,000 contestants, they hired a male model named Justin Gaston to fill a spot in the top twelve. He never auditioned in the normal process, he has little or no interest in music previously. He is a very successful underwear model. This has pretty much destroyed what would have been a great competition. He’s a fake. I think Paula should have a few words for John Rich!
