Nashville Star Chucks Charla!

June 06, 2008 09:03 PM by Lisa Stauber

Charla Corn

Nashville Star has already bounced one of their final 12 contestants, and the show hasn’t even aired yet. Charla Beth Corn, a correspondent for CMT, made the final twelve, making her dreams of music stardom come true.

Until rehearsals, when producers had a change of heart. Worried that Charla couldn’t hack the demands of a reality show and the crazy schedule, they replaced her with the group, Third Town. She still appears in some of the publicity photos, though!

Nashville Star 6 Cast

This pretty cruel. this young lady worked for months to get to the final twelve and the day before she gets jammed. These producers have no problem playing god. This is a weird competion.
Even worse than this is the fact that Justin Gaston is a total plant hired from a major modeling agency. He has modeled for Abercrombie Fitch, Diesel and so on, but never sung. He also never went through the audition process.

I don’t see the big deal. It’s a TV show, and if the final 12 are the best of the bunch, it’s going to be a better show. You should probably watch for yourself Monday night before you judge if they have talent or not.

I don’t think it’s cruel. That’s show business. She works for CMT – she should know how these things go.
