Bachelorette couple Trista and Ryan Sutter are going to christen a cruise ship.

The Ruby Princess, Princess Cruises newest cruise ship will be christened by the first season couple on November 6 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Trista and Ryan will then celbrate their fifth anniversary on December 6 during the Ruby Pincess’ inaugural season, which will be themed around “romantic moments and milestones.”

Trista feels honoured to be asked to do this for the Cruise Line and jokingly considers herself as a godparent to the ship.

Trista cannot believe that it has been five years since they have been married and feels that this is a wonderful way to celebrate their wedding anniversary and remind people about the importance of marking not only the key milestones in a relationship, but also making time to incorporate romance into everyday lives.

Trista was the beautiful Bachelorette in the very first season of the show in 2003 and more than 30 million people watched her choose Ryan during the finale.

Ten months later, ABC aired a three episode series, that showed the events leading up to their wedding ceremony and over 17 million people watched the couple as they exchanged their vows on ABC’s Trista and Ryan’s Wedding finale broadcast. In August of 2007, they welcomed their fist child, Maxwell.

“Princess Cruises has long stood for romance and reconnection, and so we’re delighted to have Trista and Ryan christen Ruby Princess as they celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary,” said Princess Cruises executive Jan Swartz.
