In two back-to-back episodes of Cops, officers deal with a wide variety of illegal vehicular activity. In the first episode, Portland, Oregon officers apprehend a suspect, who attempts to swallow the evidence.
In addition, a Martin County, Florida deputy makes a routinue traffic stop only to discover evidence that links a passenger to a recent crime in the area. Las Vegas, Nevada officers investigate a report of shots fired.
In the second episode, Lee County, Florida Deputy Chris Nebel stops a young man on a golf cart that is driving without his lights on. The young man turns out to be driving without a license and is breaking curfew. He is also on probation.
The young man’s mother doesn’t corroborate his story, so he is taken to a detention center for breaking curfew. In addition, Rialto, California Officer Robert Morales investigates an assault incident where two convenience store employees were beaten.
