After months of speculation, ABC is finally going to reveal the cast for the upcoming seventh season of Dancing With The Stars. The announcement will take place on ABC’s Good Morning America on Monday, August 25.

There have been several celebrity names linked to the show. Lance Bass, Kim Kardashian, Toni Braxton, and Warren Sapp are four names that have repeatedly appeared in media reports about possible celebrities in the cast. Dan Quayle, Kathy Griffin, and Dan Marino have also been reported as having been invited, but they have all said they declined the invitation.

A new possible cast list that surfaced on GossipSauce has been picked up by many in the media. The list includes Kim Kardashian, Lance Bass, Toni Braxton, Brooke Burke, Maurice Greene, Cody Linley, Susan Lucci, Warren Sapp, Misty May-Treanor, Ted McGinley, Mark McGrath, Cloris Leachman, and Jeff Ross.

While this list is just a rumor and has not been confirmed by ABC, there is much buzz that it appears to be a credible list. On Susan Lucci’s official website, there is a banner that says she will be appearing on Good Morning America on Monday, August 25. The list also matches the profile ABC has followed for the cast mix in recent years by including a former NFL player, a former boy band member, Olympic athletes, a soap opera star, a Disney star, former TV stars, etc.

Perhaps the most unusual name on the list is Ted McGinley, who has been called the patron saint of “jumping the shark.” Could it be a signal that the list is fake or is ABC really willing to tempt fate? Also, interesting is that several names like Adam West and Tom Selleck that have been reported are not on the rumored cast list.
