Jack Osbourne, better known from the reality show, The Osbourne’s, is making a documentary to show the world what his rocker dad Ozzy, is really like.

Jack felt that the former hit MTV show about his family didn’t accurately show his dad. The 22 year old aspiring film maker told Rolling Stone magazine, “My dad’s not an idiot, he’s nothing short of a genius.” He also said, “He does have huge flaws, and we’re trying to really paint an honest picture of that. I think ‘The Osbournes,’ to a degree, tarnished the public’s perception of my dad as a bit of a senile, funny, bumbling guy. My dad can be that guy, but it’s not him. I think that almost discredited who he is as an artist.”

Ozzy and his band mates from Black Sabbath have agreed to be interviewed for the documentary, but the rest of the family and their close friends are a little more releuctant to speak so candidly on camera.

Jack says the hardest thing is to get people to be honest because he wants this piece to be “real” and not just a piece of fluff about his dad.
