Mark Burnett Is Swimming With the Sharks

ABC has ordered a pilot for The Apprentice creator Mark Burnett, The Shark Tank.
Shark Tank is a new reality series in which aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to moguls (aka the “Sharks”) in the hopes of securing some investment capital, the Reporter stated.
Mark Burnett’s version of the series is an adaptation from both the Japanese and U.K. version of theDragon’s Den. The U.K. version aired its sixth season this summer.
Markis known for introducing reality television as a genre to the USA. He produced the USA version of the series Survivor and the Eco-Challenge. He has also produced both the US and UK versions of The Apprentice, The Restaurant, The Casino, Rock Star, Combat Missions, The Contender, Martha Stewart, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, and Pirate Master.
