Project Runway Celebrity Judge For Season 5 Finale: Jennifer Lopez

The celebrity judge for the finale of Project Runway appears to be Jennifer Lopez. Although the actress is busy training for a triathlon, she will take time out from running to serve as the guest judge for the show’s fifth season finale which will tape at New York Fashion Week’s spring fashion exhibition tomorrow, Us Weekly reported Monday.

Nina Garcia, one of the shows regular judges was unable to confirm the reports to Us, but she promised that the finale was “going to be unbelievable.”

“The guest star is one of the most iconic women around,” she told Us. “It’s going to take the cake.”

Also, another judge Michael Kors, commented that Lopez will be a suitable choice, saying “She is curious about what’s new and what’s next, but at the same time she knows how to edit perfectly for her look and lifestyle.”

Jennifer was photographed in the audience with Diane Von Furstenburg’s show last Sunday.

At the present time, Bravo TV has not confirmed Jennifer’s appearance on the show.

Each season of Runway has featured a celebrity guest judge for the show’s New York Fashion Week runway show finales.

The celebrity judges that have donned the project runway panel so far are; Parker Posey, season one; Debra Messing, season two; Fern Mallis for season three and Victoria Beckham for season four.

Project Runway’s fifth-season finale is currently scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 15 at 9 PM ET on Bravo. The sixth season of the show will not arrive this November butwill air inJanuary next year. Lifetime has taken over the rights of the show and the studio hopes that theextra timewill allow them to promote it better.
