Actress/Comedian Kathy Griffin won her second Emmy at The Creative Arts Primetime Emmys this past weekend for her Bravo hit My Life On The D-List. She received the trophy for best reality program on Saturday evening in Los Angelas.
The Creative Arts Emmys recognize technical and other achievemnets before next Sunday’s main ceremony.
Her acceptance speech she delivered was not as bleepable as her last speech in 2007, in which she told Jesus to “suck it.” She did however state that she would make love to her award if she could.
She told People, she was she was “beside myself with glee and nervousness.” The comedian also joked about her competitors. “I want to take down Antiques Roadshow once and for all,” she said. “I’m tired of those guys just running the world.”
Kathy was also nominated for a stand up comedy special, but she lost to Don Rickles. The pair will present an award together this Sunday at the Primetime Emmys. “Can you believe it? I’m in heaven,” she said of presenting with Rickles. “It’s what should have been the Obama/Hillary ticket of comedy. I’m very excited about that and being with him and standing next to him. I just love him.”
