2008 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards

The Fox Reality Channel Really Awards are back. Last year, an incident between Danny Bonaduce and Jonny Fairplay created quite a stir at the Really Awards. Will this year’s Really Awards be just as lively?

Neither Danny Bonaduce or Jonny Fairplay appeared on the list of reality TV stars scheduled to appear or present at the 2008 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards. However, there were plenty of other characters on the list that should keep things interesting.

Among the reality TV stars scheduled to present or attend are Jerry Springer, Vivica A. Fox, Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, Carrie Ann Inaba, Holly Madison, Antonio Sabato Jr., Todd Herzog, Nate Gonzales, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, Jeff Lewis, Duane “Dog” Chapman, Beth Smith Chapman, Barry Williams, Helga and Titan of American Gladiators, Corey Feldman, Eric Toms, Robin Antin, Ron Fair, Girlicious, Sheila E., Mia Michaels, Alan Thicke, Brooke “Pumkin” Thompson, Buddha of I Love Money, Sig Hansen, Rebecca “Buckwild” Johnston, Kynt & Vyxsin of The Amazing Race, Jessica Hughbanks, Meaghan Hauserman, Rahman “Rock” Harper, Erica Rose, Lynn and Alex of The Amazing Race, Mike “Boogie” Malin, Dr. Will Kirby, AJ Benza, Traci Bingham, Gretchen Bonaduce, Kato Kaelin, Susan Olsen, Ryan Starr, and Bobby Trendy.

“Reality television is a major force in today’s popular programming,” said Bob Boden, who is Fox Reality’s Senior Vice President Programming, Production and Development. “The Fox Reality Channel Really Awards allows the entertainment industry and viewers a fun way to celebrate the colorful people who have provided all of the greatest and most outrageous reality moments from the past year. We are delighted to bring back the biggest night in reality, giving viewers a unique night of reality television they can’t get anywhere else.”

Last Comic Standing 3 Winner Alonzo Bodden is scheduled to host the event. Bodden also was runner-up during Last Comic Standing 2 and appeared as a judge on Last Comic Standing 5. Jillian Reynolds is scheduled to host the red carpet show for the event, while Mark Long will conduct backstage interviews. My Bare Lady 2: Open for Business stars’ Casey Parker and Brooke Haven will serve as trophy girls.

Some of the awards that will be presented at the event include the Golden Realitini, Favorite Competition Series, Favorite Non-Competition Series, Favorite Dynamic Duo, Favorite Awkward Moment, America’s Favorite, Favorite Altered State, Favorite Pottymouth, Favorite Tears, Favorite Hottie, Favorite Villain and Favorite Fight.

The 2008 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards airs on Saturday, October 11 at 10 PM ET/PT.
