Earlier this year, when DeAnna Pappas chose Jesse Csincsak’s proposal on The Bachelorette, they had stated they would marry in the Bahamas, where they had fallen in love. The wedding may be changing destinations.
“At first we said the Bahamas and now we’re kind of torn between a few different places,” Pappas told PEOPLE Thursday at the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards.
DeAnna may not be decided on the destination of the wedding, but she issure what she will be wearing to the nuptials. “I’ll wear a white dress, some brown bridesmaid dresses, that’s all I care about,” she said. As for the men, “We’re not going to wear tuxes,” said Jesse. “We’re going to get custom-made suits. I might wear some Nike 6.0′s instead of uncomfortable dress shoes.”
The couple are also planning a small intimate wedding that will take place over a number of days, beginning May 8, 2009. “We want to do like a four-day weekend where you do a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday,” said Csincsak. “My family and her family can get together and do fun stuff.” Pappas added, “They get along very, very well. They love each other.”
The two families get along so well together that they have decided to spend Thanksgiving together this year. “It will be at [DeAnna's] place in Georgia,” said Csincsak. When asked who will do the cooking,Pappas replied, “There will be like forty people there, so I assume we’ll all just put all of our hands together and get together, cook everything and enjoy ourselves.”
