Seven remaining teams will leave Summer Hill, New Zealand and travel toCambodiathis week onThe Amazing Race. It’s a tight race in the battle for a million dollars, but Ken and Tina have provena force toreckon with as they havefinished first in the past three legs. Find out if they will be able to maintain their leadandwhich team willbe headed home…
Ken and Tina are the first to depart at 6 a.m. for Cambodia. Terrence and Sarah are the second to leave and aren’t too far behind, until theyget stopped by the police for speeding.Meanwhile, Ken and Tinahave their tickets on the quickest flight, however, they have a changeover in Singapore. When Sarah gets to the airportshe asks the attendants which flight Ken and Tina got on.She finds out that the flight hasn’t yet closedso her and Terrenceare able toget on the same flight.
Kelly and Christy arrive at the airport at the same time as Toni and Dallas. There’s a little bit of friction between the teams as the girls start whispering and making fun of Dallas’ hair by calling him Teen Wolf. Aja and Ty are behind, but they have agreed to stop fighting, startsupporting each other, and stay motivated. Ken and Tina start to get upset realizing all the teams have caught up to them at theairportexcept Aja and Ty.
When they get to Cambodia, the teams need to find a marked gas station. They must choose a truck and use a hand pump to fill the gas tank, and then they receive the next clue. Next, they have to ride in the back of the truck to Siem Reap Harbor and take a boat to a floating restaurant. Andrew and Dan cannot figure out how to use the pump, whereas Toni and Dallas and Nick and Starrhave long moved on. Aja and Ty were the only ones on a separate plane, thus are in last place but determined not to give up. Terrance and Sarah’s truck passes Ken and Tina on the road and assume the lead.
The teams are nowracing by boat to the floating restaurant. Terrence and Sarah started to take the lead when their boat breaks. Sarah starts crying as all the other teams pass them up, so Terrence starts using a stick to try to push the boat. All the teams have passed them up except Aja and Ty.
DETOUR: Village life or village work. In village life, they must use boats to pick up three items from different stops and then deliver them to the dock. In village work, they must take boats to the fishing grounds, wade in the water to find traps filled with fish and then bring them back to shore.
Ken and Tina,Nick and Starr, andTerrence and Sarah are neck and neck again as they complete their detours at the same time. Once complete, the teams must travel to the temple Angkor Wat for their next clue. Andrew and Dan and Aja and Ty are currently in last place.
ROAD BLOCK: One person must go on an exploration of Angkor Wat, the largest religious structure in the world. They must find the chamber of echos and thump their chest so that it echos throughout the chamber, then they can pick up their clue for the final pit stop, Bayon Temple.
Nick is the first one to complete the road block. He hides the clue under his shirt and tells the rest of the teams he cannot find it and runs out of the temple. Dallas and Toni and Terrence and Sarah aren’t far behind as they allhead to the pit stop. Ken and Tina have lost their lead as Tina keeps getting lost inside the temple. Once she finds the clue, she can’t find her way out.
Nick and Starr are the first to arrive at the pit stop and win a trip to St. John. Toni and Dallas and Terrence and Sarah arrive at the pit stop together for second and third place. Ken and Tina come in fourth, followed by a very surprised Kelly and Christy. Andew and Dan and Aja and Ty are still racing for the pitstop, but Andrew and Dan pull ahead to be the sixth team. Aja and Ty are the last to arrive and are eliminated. Terrance and Sarah received a thirty minute penalty at the start of the next leg.
