What’s the perfect reality TV show to get one in the Halloween mood? Ghost Hunters on the SCI FI Channel of course. In honor of the scariest time of year, the SCI FI Channel is offering up a double-dose of Ghost Hunters. The first episode kicks off on Wednesday, October 29 starting at 9 PM ET.

In the first episode, the Ghost Hunters pay a visit to the USS Hornet in San Francisco, California. West coast TAPS members Amy Bruni and Britt Griffith, along with Colin Ferguson, who is the star of SCI FI’s Eureka, will make special guest appearance on the episode.

The second episode airs on Halloween night, which is Friday, October 31. The Halloween night episode runs live from 7 PM to 2 AM ET. The Ghost Hunters will be paying a visit to the historic Fort Delaware. Josh Gates for Destination Truth will host the live event, while Steve Valentine of SCI FI’s Estate of Panic will co-host. The special will include appearance by both Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International members, and Amanda Tapping of Sanctuary and ECW Superstar The Miz will make special guest appearances.

In addition to the televised Halloween night event, SCI FI will also be offering an exclusive, multi-camera online video feed and thermal imaging camera views on SCIFI.COM. Viewers will be able to access photos and ask questions to TAPS members. There will be a “Panic Button” that will allow web visitors to let the Ghost Hunters know about anything unusual they are seeing live on TV.

I absolutely love this show, but their Halloween specials haven’t really been too spooky. Although, the fact that we cna watch them live is always a great feature. :(

Hahah and the Real World/Road Rules alum seem to do fairly well in breaking into other Reality TV venues. Trishelle, Ace, The Miz, Theo, Tonya… a lot of them are seriously hitting the snooze button on their 15 minutes of fame.
