David Archuleta To Perform In Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

American Idol runner up, David Archuleta will perform alongside hundreds of balloons and Hanna Montana star, Miley Cyrus in this year’s Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Day Parade. Other performers set for the annual Turkey Day festivity include Trace Adkins, the Cheetah Girls, James Taylor and Darius Rucker, according to a press release.
The New York City parade takes place on November 27 and will be hosted by “Today” hosts Matt Lauer, Meridith Vieira and Al Roker. Casts from several Broadway shows such as, Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas will entertain the crowd.
David Archuleta’s debut album will be released nationwide on November 11, which is a week ahead of its official release date.
