Suspect In Jennifer Hudson Family Killings Appears Before Parole Board

Jennifer Hudson’s brother in law, who is the person of interest and suspected of killing three members of her family, appeared before an Illinois parole board today to get his freedom, according to officials. William Balfour, 27, the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister, Julia, will appear before the Illinois Prisoner Review Board while the police investigation into the triple homicide in Chicago continues, the Chicago Tribune reported Sunday.

The American Idol singer and now famous actress’ mother, Darnell Donerson and brother Jason Hudson wereshot and killed in Chicago Oct. 24. The body of Julian King, her nephew was found a few days later in the family’s missing vehicle at another location in Chicago.

Balfour is still claiming that he is innocent and has not been charged. He was however arrested on Oct.26 for allegedly violating his parole from a 1999 attempted murder conviction and has been held at the Stateville Correctional Center as noted by the Tribune.
