A new reality competition series called CHA$E is coming to the SCI FI Channel. CHA$E is a real-life video-game tag competition. The game is played out in various Los Angeles landmark locations.
CHA$E is based on a Japanese show from Fuji Television, and international broadcaster Trey Farley serves as the host of the series. In CHA$E, ten contestants compete against one another, while they are being stalked by relentless hunters. The game lasts for sixty minutes of real time.
As the minutes count down, the game becomes more difficult. More and more hunters appear to chase the contestants, while the game board changes. The tasks assigned to the contestants also become more nerve-racking.
For every second they stay in the game, contestants earn money. If a contestant is overrun by a hunter, then they lose all the money they have accumulated. The last contestant remaining in the game takes home the prize.
CHA$E airs on Tuesday, November 11 starting at 10 PM ET/PT on SCI FI.
