Project Runway is fighting back! After NBC Universal decided to tie up Project Runway’s move from Bravo to Lifetime network, the Producers of the show are giving it as good as they get by sueing NBC. The producers are stating that NBC deliberately sabotaged the show’s fifth season after a deal was struck to take the show to the competing Lifetime network next year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the lawsuit filed by the Weinstein Co. states a number of ways Bravo attempted to sabotage the show’s ratings, which include; changing the shows airtime, running a small number of ads as well as showing unappealing and mundane ads, revealing spoilers about future episodes, failing to update the series Website and running too many repeats of the show at the time the series was on air, confusing the audience.

Meanwhile, Bravo isn’t letting the lawsuit from Project Runway dampen their chances to get back on the fashion bandwagon. They have ordered their own design-competition series, The Fashion Show, in which viewers pick the winner and the prize includes a retail deal.

Reality TV has already posted the information on this site under reality tv casting as Bravo is looking for contestants for the show and will be in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and New York. The series air date has yet to be announced.

Bravo Media executive Frances Berwick said in a statement, “The Fashion Show is the perfect complement to our successful fashion series Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style and The Rachel Zoe Project.”
