In a time of both economic uncertainty and great hope, FOX is introducing a very timely new reality TV series. The series is called Secret Millionaire and revolves around millionaires, who leave their lavish lifestyle behind in order to experience life in impoverished areas of the country.
The millionaires participating in the show include a young internet mogul, multi-million dollar magazine-publishing business co-owners, a successful Southern California lawyer, a restaurant empire owner, a Baltimore socialite and former NFL cheerleader, and a software inventor. The secret millionaires are Gurbaksh Chahal, Todd and Gwen Graves, Gregory R Haerr, Myles and Cynthia Kovacs, Gregory and Cole Ruzicka, and Molly Shattuck.
The secret millionaires will live in communities such as an area devastated by Hurricane Katrina, an old Pennsylvania coal-mining town, and areas outside of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
The secret millionaires will have to live on just minimum wage. They will work with community members and make friends with those in need. At the end of their stay, they select one of their new-found friends, neighbors or co-workers to receive a $100,000 gift.
Secret Millionaire premieres on Wednesday, December 3 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET/PT on FOX.
