More Reality TV Show Premiere Dates Announced

The year 2009 is shaping up to be a big year for reality TV. January, February, and March are packed with reality TV show premieres. Some of the returning show premieres we have already announced here at Reality TV Magazine include the American Idol 8 premiere set for January 13, the Dancing With The Stars 8 premiere set for March 8, The Biggest Loser Couples premiere set for January 6, the Bachelor 13 premiere set for January 5, and the Hell’s Kitchen 5 premiere set for January 29. Some of the new reality TV shows include Superstars of Dance which will premiere on January 4 and True Beauty which will premiere on January 5. Here are some more official premiere dates for new and returning reality TV shows.

It seems like every week Ashton Kutcher launches a new reality, hidden camera, or game show. Kutcher’s latest endeavor is called Game Show in My Head. The reality game show will feature ordinary people attempting to perform extraordinary tasks on an unsuspecting public to win up to $50,000. Former Fear Factor host Joe Rogan will be hosting Game Show in My Head, which premieres on Saturday, January 3 from 8 PM to 9 PM ET/PT on CBS.

Also on CBS, the 18th edition of Survivor is set to premiere on Thursday, February 12 from 8 PM to 9 PM ET/PT, and the 14th edition of the Amazing Raceis scheduled to start on Sunday, February 15 from 8 PM to 9 PM ET/PT.

On the SCI-FI Channel, Ghost Hunters International will be back starting on January 7, 2009 at 9 PM ET, and the fifth season of Ghost Hunters is set to start sometime in March of 2009.

On ABC, Wipeoutreturns with a special “Wipeout Bowl” facing cheerleaders against football players in celebration of the end of football season. Wipeoutairs on February 1, 2009, at 8PM ET/PT.

Last but certainly not least, Donald Trump is returning with a second edition of the Celebrity Apprentice. In the new season, each episode will run for two hours and will feature sixteen new celebrities facing grueling challenges. Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. will be returning as advisors to Donald Trump in the boardroom. The second season of the Celebrity Apprentice is set to premiere on Sunday, March 1 from 9 PM to 11 PM on NBC.
