Dancing With the Stars has hit the road for their live tour and Lance Bass, singer from the boy band N’Sync and first runner-up from this season’s show is enjoying life on the road! He spoke to PEOPLE about life on the tour bus and how great the live tour really is.
“I love, love riding on a tour bus, sleeping on a tour bus. I’m more comfortable on my tour bus than I am in my actual home. The buses are so comfortable, much better than when I was on the road with ‘N Sync,” he says.
Lance also told PEOPLE that he is impressed by the calibre of dance on the Dancing With the Starstour, and the behind the stage scene.
“There are huge costume changes, like every five minutes,” Lance Bass said. “We’re all changing back there. They’ve outdone themselves. The show came together so quick and I’m so impressed that everyone could do it. We had two days off and then boom, we were back. It’s just amazing.”
There are no penalties for lifts in this show and Lance Bass thinks that the fans will enjoy the the pro dancers the most, commenting “They do these incredible numbers that they really couldn’t showcase on the TV show. The dancing is over-the-top great.”
As for entertaining the fans, young and old and giving all the dancers, including the celebrities a chance to shine, Lance Bass said, “Maks (Chmerkovskiy) [who choreographed the show] did an amazing job. The choreography is set to a good variety of music and there’s a good variety of dances. He adds laughing, “There’s a lot of group numbers, too, where we’re dancing with the pros and that makes me feel very inadequate, buthonestly, the show really showcases every dancer, even the celebrities.”
Dancing With the Starswill be back on ABC in March.
