The eighth season of American Idol will kick off on FOX in less than a week, but if you’re looking to whet you appetite right now, then the Fox Reality Channel has the solution. Since January 1, Fox Reality Channel has been airing what they call the “12 Days of Idol.”

The “12 Days of Idol” consists of encore performances of the seventh season of American Idol. Back-to-back episodes of American Idol 7 going all the way from the audition episodes to the season finale are currently airing through January 13 on the Fox Reality Channel. The complete “12 Days of Idol” schedule for January is available on the Fox Reality website.

Fox Reality Channel is the official home for American Idol Season 7,” said Bob Boden, who is SVP of Programming, Production & Development for Fox Reality Channel. “We offer our viewers more Idol content than any other cable network, starting with the ’12 Days of Idol’ in January, followed by our original, American Idol Extra in March.”

American Idol 8 premieres on FOX on Tuesday, January 13 at 8 PM ET. American Idol Extra premieres on the Fox Reality Channel on Thursday, March 26. American Idol Extra features exclusive first sit-down interviews with the American Idol final 10. The interviews take place directly on the Idol stage, mere moments after the finalists are eliminated.
