The Real World Brooklyn premiered last night on Wednesday, January 7th and it felt like an entirelydifferent show than what was seen for the past 10 years.

The roommatesarrived at thehouse in pairs from different locations in New York City andfrom hereis where it threw away the recent Real Worldtemplate.

There are 8 cast members on this seasons Real World, and none fit areal stereotype like in the previous seasons and old Disney cartoons.

The Real Worldcast includes Kate, Sarah, JD, Devyn, Scott, Baya, Chet, & Ryan.

Instead ofthe near immediategroup binge drinking to the local hotspot there was actual bonding and real conversation.

There were some drinks had but everyone stayed in the house interacting and getting to know each other.

Another night they did go out to see a local band and had some drinks but everyone was under control except for Ryan.

Previous seasons there were enablers and indifference to excessive drinking, but this time there was an immediate group intervention led by JD to stimey Ryan from going overboard.

The biggest cliff hanger was when the transgender roommate Kate would reveal her surgery to everyone as some pretty well realized while others surprisingly had no idea.

The show then ended with Kate having dinner with JD and opening up about herself.

Next week on The Real World, we will see if she opens up to the rest of the cast, rather than the repetitive predictability of previous seasons that next week will just be another drunk night outresulting ineither a hook up or argument if not both.
