Dancing With the Stars: Brooke Burke is Thrilled For Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff

Season 7 Dancing With The Stars winner, Brooke Burke, is happy that Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff are together and she said that she knew something was going on between the couple. “You could see the chemistry,” Burke told People magazine, “I’m really happy for them and I hope it works out.” Brooke also said that when the couple danced together, “It was like fire!”
Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff were engaged New Years Eve at a party in the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
Brooke also thinks that the couple have a lot in common and commented, “They say you’re supposed to marry from the block. Culturally they have a lot of similarities and a really passionate, steamy love affair going on.”
Although Brooke Burke took home the mirror ball trophy this season on Dancing With The Stars she did not join the tour due to family commitments.
“I just couldn’t pack up and leave my kids and do the tour,” she said. “But, from talking to everyone, it sounds like they’re all having fun.”
The next season of Dancing With The Stars returns March 9 to ABC.
