Tensions are running high on The Bachelor, as the remaining twelve bachelorettes compete to win Jason Mesnick’s heart. On this week’s episode, one nervous bachelorette will actually go as far as to run out of the rose ceremony.
One reason that the anxiety level picks up is that the bachelorettes learn that there will be two special one-on-one dates and a group date with Jason. Just like last episode, some of the bachelorettes will not get to go on a date at all. If you want to wait until the episode airs to find out who Jason selects for his one-on-one dates, then stop reading now, because there are Bachelor spoilers below.
For one of his one-on-one dates, Jason Mesnick takes Stephanie and her child on a family-style date to Legoland California. Stephanie is thrilled about having the reunion with her daughter, Sophia. However, Jason and Stephanie have to face the question of if there is a connection beyond just the fact that they’re both single parents.
For his other one-on-one date, Jason surprises Natalie with a million-dollar diamond necklace from Sophia Fiori. Of course, Natalie doesn’t get to keep the necklace, but she does get to wear it on her date with Jason in Las Vegas, which includes a private concert by pop phenomenon Kate Voegele.
On the group date, Jason and eight of the bachelorettes help to raise money for breast cancer research for the “Keep-A-Breast” Foundation. The eight bachelorettes each make a “bust cast” to be auctioned off for charity. The bachelorettes paint their own personal touches on the casts.
At a cocktail party before the rose ceremony, things gets really personal between some of the bachelorettes and Jason. One of the bachelorettes shares that she had breast reduction surgery, while another bachelorette shows Jason pictures of her child.
At the rose ceremony, one woman is so nervous about possibly getting sent home that she runs out of the ceremony. During the rose ceremony, Jason eliminated three more bachelorettes, leaving nine bachelorettes to continue on in the competition. The Bachelor airs on Monday, January 19 from 8 PM to 9:30 PM ET on ABC.
