True Beauty: Contestants Judged On Compassion And Sportsmanship

January 19, 2009 01:00 PM by Joe Reality

On this week’s episode of True Beauty, the contestants are secretly tested on compassion and sportsmanship. For their challenge, the contestants are told they will be performing one of four sports activities for a photo shoot. The four sports activities are volleyball, tennis, basketball and karate.

A team poster will be created by putting four shots together, and the best overall poster will win the challenge. The losing team will have to send its team captain and one other team member to face elimination in the Hall of Beauty.

Before the photo shoot, the contestants are sent to a local gym to prepare with a group of coaches. The contestants will work with a wardrobe stylist, who is secretly a planted actress. The wardrobe stylist pretends that she is being dumped by her cheating boyfriend. She spends a lot of time with him on the phone and crying. The judges will watch the contestants via secret camera to see who shows compassion for the upset woman.

True Beauty female contestants are Monique Santiago, Julia Anderson, Laura Leigh, and Chelsea Bush. True Beauty male contestants are CJ Miller, Billy Jeffrey, Joel Rush, and Ray Seitz. True Beauty airs on Monday, January 19 from 10 PM to 11 PM ET on ABC.
