Season six, American Idol finalist Sanjaya Malakar, has just released a tell-all book about the good and bad times he experienced as a contestant on American Idol. The former sixth-season American Idol top 10 finalist is the subject of Dancing to the Music in My Head: Memoirs of the People’s Idol.
Sanjaya Malakar, who was best known for his big hair and personality is making the most out of his unsuccesful season 6 stint on American Idol. Not only did he releasea five song EP titled, Dancing To The Music In My Head, but now he has hit the market with this new memoir which is similarly titled Dancing To The Music In My Head: Memoirs Of the People’s Idol released on the same day!
Twosongs included in the five-song EP,are a smooth ballad titled, A Guy Like Me anda Latin-tinged tune, Rainy Days.
His memoir follows the former top 10 finisher from his pre-fame days to his rise through the reality competition to life after American Idol.
The EP and book have hit the market at the right time with American Idol season 8 well underway. Maybe people will still have a faint recollection of the crazy haired, singer who often fell flat with his notes while performing. One thing is for sure, Sanjaya Malakar was a hit with the young teen girls, so maybe there is a market out there for both his tunes and his book. If you are inclined to check out Sanjaya Malakar’s latest venture, the EP is available through Amazon and the book is available through Pocket books.
