In a new Fox Reality Channel series called The Next Amazing Adventures of a Nobody, Leon Logothetis backpacks from Paris to Moscow, while surviving on only five Euros a day. In order to survive on so little cash, Englishman Leon utilizes his urban-survival expertise to travel, eat and lodge. During his journey, Leon does not accept money from anyone and relies completely on the gracious assistance of the colorful characters he encounters.
“The Nobody series has been a huge hit with viewers, because they feel as if they’re making the trek with Leon,” said Bob Boden, who is SVP of Programming, Production & Development for Fox Reality Channel. “Given the current state of our economy, watching Leon stretch five Euros a day will inspire people to be open to the possibilities of creating their own adventure in the New Year.”
After The Next Amazing Adventures of a Nobody premiere, Leon will partake in a charity-centered adventure. The adventure will start on January 27, 2009 and end on January 31, 2007 at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida. Leon will attempt to travel 500 miles in five days on a $5 daily budget. If he successfully makes it to Tampa, Leon will attempt to obtain a Super Bowl ticket with his meager finances. Leon will reward the stranger that he feels helped him most during his journey with two invites to an exclusive Super Bowl party.
The week prior to the Super Bowl adventure Leon will engage in acts of charity as he travels from Los Angeles to Atlanta with stops in cities such as Phoenix, Arizona; Dallas, Texas; Monroe, Louisiana; and Birmingham, Alabama. Leon’s mission is to show the world that any ‘Nobody’ can make a difference.
The all-new season of The Next Amazing Adventures of a Nobody premieres with a marathon on Sunday, January 25 starting at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT.
