Hell’s Kitchen 5 Premieres On FOX

Chef Gordon Ramsay is back for a fifth season of Hell’s Kitchen on FOX. Sixteen brand new contestants will see if they have what it takes to survive working and learning under Chef Ramsay.
As usual, Chef Ramsay has the contestants prepare their signature dishes as their first task. While Chef Ramsay is at first pleasantly surprised by the signature dishes, his mood soon turns foul, when one contestant goes too far.
After the signature dish taste test, the contestants are divided into a red team and a blue team. The red team consists of Andrea, Carol, Coi, Colleen, Ji, LA, Lacey, and Paula. The blue team consists of Ben, Charlie, Danny, Giovanni, J, Robert, Seth, and Wil. For more info on the cast, check out our Hell’s Kitchen 5 cast bios.
Before the doors can even be opened for dinner service, a huge fight breaks out in the kitchen. The contestants are emotional and competitive, because they know at stake is a grand prize of a “Head Chef” position at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
The Hell’s Kitchen season premiere airs on Thursday, January 29 from 9 PM to 10 PM ET/PT on FOX.

I’m still a big fan of the show though I’m still saddened by the fact that one of the strongest contender, Ji, had to leave. She did such a noble thing and I hope that they would bring her back to the show. I found that she has a web site, http://www.chefji.com with photos and you can email and even vote as to whether to have her back to the show!
