On the second season premier of The Millionaire Matchmaker, Patti Stanger returns to once again utilize her matchmaking skills. Thanks to her stellar reputation, Patti Stanger’s Los Angeles matchmaking service has been growing quickly. Stanger specializes in helping wealthy men find their perfect woman. However, this season, there’s a new twist, as Patti helps female millionairesses and a gay millionaire.
The Millionaire Matchmaker features Stanger and her determined staff as they utilize personal shoppers, date coaches and therapists to help their high-end clients transform. In each episode, two wealthy clients are set up on dates personally chosen by Stanger, based upon their beauty and intelligence.
Stanger’s clients on the second season include several millionairesses, such as a forty year old, fashion label CEO. Stanger relates to the CEO by talking about her experiences in “aegism” in the highly competitive Los Angeles dating scene. Also, Stanger works with a gay millionaire, who runs a successful branding business. Stanger is a staunch supporter of everyone’s right to have devoted love.
As an experienced third-generation matchmaker, Patti Stanger started her company, Millionaire’s Club, in January of 2000. Stanger also worked as the Director of Marketing for Great Expectations. She notoriously said in season one “redheads are not the freshest produce in the aisle.” Stanger has also written a book called “Become Your Own Matchmaker: 8 Easy Steps for Attracting Your Perfect Mate.”
Joining Stanger once again this season is her loyal Vice President of Matching, Chelsea Autumn and her former executive assistant, Destin Pfaff, who has now been promoted. Pfaff’s girlfriend, Rachel, joins them as the new office assistant. Stanger will now do everything in her power to encourage Pfaff to pop the question to Rachel this season.
