The fourth season of American Idol still ranks as one of the best if not the best season ever of the show. American Idol 4 also produced one of the biggest stars to ever appear on the show in the form of country superstar Carrie Underwood. Now, Idol fans can relive America Idol 4 on American Idol Rewind.
American Idol Rewind returns to syndication on Saturday, February 28 with the 196 contestants that made it to Hollywood Week during season four. Instead of being a straight replay of previously aired episodes, American Idol Rewind offers up never-before-seen performances.
Some of the performances that Idol fans can look forward to seeing include Carrie Underwood and Vonzell Solomon in the group challenge round, and Bo Bice doing an a cappella rendition of “Proud To Be An American” as a tribute to his grandfather.
Also, in new 2009 interviews, the America Idol 4 top twelve tell behind the scenes stories of Hollywood Week. Season 4 contestants Bo Bice, Anthony Fedorov, Mikalah Gordon, Constantine Maroulis, Jessica Sierra, and others reflect back on their experiences from auditioning all the way to performing as part of the top twelve.
American Idol Rewind airs in syndication on 195 stations nationwide, representing 92% of the country. In addition to all new episodes of American Idol Rewind airing in syndication, encore episodes will air on TV Guide Network on Fridays at 8 PM.
