Steve-O is accustomed to pain and may have to tap into the Jackass side of himself in order to perform this Monday night on Dancing With The Stars. Lacey Schwimmer’s funny guy partner has suffered a back injury during his salsarehearsals.

Steve-O is going to continue to dance andhas toldLacey Schwimmerthat he has no plans to withdraw from the Dancing With The Starscompetition.

“We will dance Monday… He’s in loads of pain,” Lacey Schwimmer told Usmagazine on Thursday. She also told E! that Steve-O has seen four specialists for his back pain.

“They all say he has pulled a lot of sciatic nerves and that’s pretty bad,” Lacey Schwimmer said. “Everyone who has looked at him has said that it’s not good.”

Lacey Scwimmer also said, “It would really suck if he had to get out of the competition. But if it doesn’t get better, it is something the show and Steve-o are considering. His health is more important than a TV show. But Steve-O has also told me, ‘There is no way I am going to get out of this.’ He doesn’t care. He’s jumped off buildings. He’ll dance through a few minutes of pain, I’m sure.”

Steve-O and Lacey Schwimmerhad planned some unusal stunts for their dance this week and due to the injury the circus moves have been put on hold.

“We’re not able to do a lot of the tricks and other plans we had hoped for,” Lacey Schwimmer said. “Hopefully, if his back gets better we can put them back in. It’s a very fun routine.”

Steve-O joins the growing list of injured dancers onthis season of Dancing With The Stars. Jewel and Nancy O’Dell had to drop out of thecompetition just days before the season premiere on Monday due to dancing-related injuries and dancerSteve Wozniak has fractured his foot this past week.

ABCis not confirming Steve-O’s back injury, so I guess we will have to wait until next Monday to see just how bad he is!
