Ryan Seacrest begins FOX’s American Idol tonight by saying that in his hand, he holds the results from last night’s vote – and they are shocking! There were over 31 million votes! The Top 11 sit nearby, waiting in anticipation, as Ryan introduces the judges and says that tonight – viewers will be treated to a performance by Brad Paisley, as well as a new duet from Randy Travis and Carrie Underwood on Grand Ole Opry week! To start the show, the Top 11 perform T-r-o-u-b-l-e by Travis Tritt!

American Idol: Carrie Underwood Draws Negative Reaction From Hunting Groups For Her Support Of The Humane Society

Last week, season four American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, released her Motley Crue remake of Home Sweet Home which will be played on American Idol each week as a contestant makes their exit. A portion of the proceeds from the downloaded tune will be donated by Carrie Underwood to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).
Hunting groups across the US, especially the US Sportsman’s Alliance (USSA)are enraged by her generosity stating that the Humane Society does not oversee animal shelters, insteadit is a radical organization that seeks to end hunting and other responsible uses of animals in America.
