America's Next Top Model

The models have their new and improved looks, but their runway walks are still a little rough around the edges. Miss Jay arrives to save the day on tonight’s episode of America’s Next Top Model and enrolls the girls in his charm school. Then thegirls will get a chance to walk in Jill Stuart’s runway show and have a photo shoot on top ofa double decker bus with Mark Rosenthal.

TYRA MAIL: Mind your p’s & q’s… and Jay.

The girls realize that it’s going to be some type of runway competition. They arrive at an old mansion and Miss Jay strolls down the staircase to meet them. He tells them they will be enrolling in his charm school, but first they need to change. The models get changed into khakis, cardigans, and pearls to walk for Jay.

He critiques them and then brings out some real models to give them advice. Allison has more trouble than the rest and Jay makes her walk with a book on her head. Later that night, the girls play truth or dare at the model house. Natalie has to own up and say who she thinks had the worst picture last week, and she says Tahlia.

TYRA MAIL: Take it from me, the runway is the worst place for excess baggage.

Teyona arrives back at the house after getting her hair redone fromthe America’s Next Top Modelmakeover – Tyra said her weave was whack. Then the girls are introduced to designer Jill Stuart who tells them they will walk in her runway show. They will also have to carry large bags in both hands and be careful not to let them hit the other girls. The models frantically practice backstage as they get ready for the show.

The show begins and Celia kicks it off. She does a good job, but Natalie comes out after her and does a spin in the middle of the runway. Jay rolls his eyes. London is overly comfortable and almost forgets she is on the runway when she’s out there. Allison is freaked out about the narrow space and gets scared she’ll fall off. She has a mini panic attack but manages to get through the walk.

After the show, Jay comes back with the editor of Seventeen and Jill Stuart. They give their comments on the girls. The winner of the challenge is between Natalie and Celia, but Natalie wins (even though they hated her twirl). She wins select pieces from the collection. Later that night, Tahlia calls home because she’s really struggling with her confidence and wants to go home.

TYRA MAIL: Give it your all tomorrow or you might get thrown under the bus.

The girls are greeted by Jay outside. He tells them they will be on top of a tour bus and they must portray a certain type of person in the shoot (wall street broker, nanny, upper east side snob, tourists, and soho artist) in groups of two. Mark Rosenthal is the guest photographer. Surprisingly, Tahlia was one of the better models on the shoot.

JUDGING: Tyra Banks greets the models. First to be judged are Kortnie and Nijah, soho artists, and the judges don’t feel they told their story very well. There was no artist/muse relationship and they think the picture is lame. Fo and Aminat are next and they portrayed wall street brokers. The judges love it and they think it’s Aminat’s best shot yet. Celia and Sandra are next and they were nannies. The judges don’t see the “nanny” aspect, but they like the picture nonetheless. Next is Tahlia and Natalie, Time Square tourists, and the judges are very impressed. They feel the girls captured the moment, except for Natalie. London and Allison, upper east side snobs, are the last to be judged. They didn’t like it at all and think Allison looks like a hungover Olsen twin.

Tyra Banks calls Sandra’s name, as she had the best picture. She is followed by Aminat, Tahlia, Fo, Celia, Kortnie, London, Talia, Natalie. Allison and Nijah are the bottom two. Allison stays and Nijah is sent home from America’s Next Top Model.
