Tonight, in an all new episode ofAmerican Idol Rewind, eight contestants are still in the running for the season 4 American Idol title, but after two grueling weeks of competition, only six contestants remain. In a shocking twist, Bo Bice finds himself in the bottom two and reveals his true feelings in an exclusive 2009 interview.
For viewers who just can’t get enough of American Idol this season, American Idol Rewind givesyou the chance to take a trip back in time and relive two tough and pivotal weeks of the season 4 competition.
The Top 8 must choose “Songs From Their Birth Year” to win the hearts and the votes of the television viewers, and rockers Bo Bice and Constantine Maroulis bring down the house with their classic rock anthems. Through exclusive 2009 interviews Carrie Underwood discusses crashing the rockers’ party by singing “Love is a Battlefield,” and Bo Bice recalls his shock when he found himself in the bottom two.
Next, it’s on to a tough night as the judges’ criticism is plentiful when the Top 7 contestants tackle “Dance Music from the 70′s. Still, two of the brightest moments steal the night with Bo Bice’s iconic performance of “Vehicle,” and Carrie Underwood’s blazing rendition of Donna Summer’s “MacArthur Park.”
