The Real Housewives Of New York: Luann de Lesseps Separated From Husband After Infidelity

Countess Luann de Lesseps, has split from her husband, Count Alexandre de Lesseps after their 16 year marriage, according to a report in the New York Post on Tuesday.The Real Housewives of New York starhasconfirmed that the couplehas indeed separated, but plans to remain good friends in the interest of their children.
Luann and Count de Lesseps married in 1993, and Luann obtained her title as the “Countess” after that.The couple had a seemingly solid marriage despite the fact that Alexandrespent most of his time living in Europe, and Luann was reportedly blindsided by the revelation.
Recently, Luann had grown suspicious of the Count’s recent activities when it was rumored that he was seeing someone else. Finally,her husband confirmedvia email messagethat he was in a serious relationship with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva. Come on, email message?
The Countess says that it has been enormously hard for the children but she is taking the high road and has no intention of turning things into a mess. Luann feels this will be the”ultimate testfor her to handle this with dignity and grace.” Speaking of grace, Luann’s book “Class with the Countess” that she spoke about on Real Housewives of New York is still on track to be releasedin thecoming month. Luann also said that she doesn’t plan on giving up her title any time soon and that “she will always be the countess.”
