Last week on America’s Next Top Model, Kortnie, this season’s only plus sized model, was sent packing. Her elimination sparked some fury among many of the girls who felt that Sandra should have been the one to go home. Find out what Kortnie has to say about living in the model house and overcoming the drama…
In a recent interview with Reality TV World, Kortnie was asked how she felt about Sandra staying in the house and Celia’s outburst at the elimination. Kortnie said, “Once the judges had me and Sandra in the bottom, personally, if I may offer my opinion… I think she should’ve went home. But I think if Celia’s (pauses) how do I say this… Celia’s got balls, and I know a lot of girls that were thinking a lot of things but no one gets in front of Tyra Banks and is like ‘Hey, this is what I think.’ So hooray Celia, way to go.”
She says that two of her best friends from America’s Next Top Modelwere Celia and Allison and she will keep in touch with them. She said that of all the girls, she hopes that Allison will win because she is a truly great person. When asked if she plans on continuing to pursue modeling, Kortnie replied, “Oh yeah, definitely. What I’m definitely going to do after the show, I have some nice things that I’m working on now: modeling, spokes modeling. I think that goes hand-in-hand with other forms of entertainment, so anywhere I’m wanted I’ll be there.”
She thinks that the fact that she is a “curvier girl” will work to her advantage as she feels there is a revolution going on in the modeling world.
