American Idol: Kellie Pickler Returns To Idol

So think back about three years ago. Rememberthe charming, beautiful Southern blonde with the heartfelt grandpa story, who took American Idol by storm, yet seemed like she could possibly be the most gullible person ever to walk the face of the earth? Well, she’s coming back next week for a visit…
The adorable Kellie Pickler from American Idol season 5 will be returning to the big stage next Wednesday night after the conclusion of “Songs From The Year You Were Born” week. She will be singingthe song “Best Days of Your Life” that she co-wrote with another lovely blonde Southerner – Taylor Swift.Kellie says she is excited to get back to the show that made her.
Kellie continued to say on her Myspace blog, “Going back to American Idol is like going to a family reunion, well, it’s more fun than going to my family reunions,” she laughed. “Seriously, it’s always great to see the gang and feel the excitement from the contestants. And, I’m thrilled to be singing “Best Days of Your Life” which is a blast to perform.”
Kellie is definitely one entertaining young lady, but back in the day her music was a wee bit questionable. Although at first we weren’t sure what would happen to dear, sweet Kellie after the show, she has managed to continue in her singing career. Recently, her second album hit number 1 on the Billboard Country Music Album chart.
Kellie will also be joining Taylor Swift on her 2009 Fearless tour, where she willperform the opening act.
