Real Housewife of New York City Kelly Killoren knows all about boyfriend drama. After being arrested in March for misdemeanor assault chargesfrom ex Nicholas Stefanov, Kelly hasfound herselfin the middle of a court case battle. Find out what exactly has been going down in this domestic dispute…
According to the complaint Kelly’s ex filed against her,she allegedly “hit the 30 year old with a closed fist, thereby causing informant to suffer a laceration below informant’s left eye and substantial pain.” Defense attorney Ed Hayes says that the dispute was fueled by Stefanov “the rejected boyfriend” and not Killoren. Hayes says that the dispute happened after Stefanov refused toleave Kelly’sapartment.
The Daily News reported Hayes as saying, “I can’t believe the guy went to the police. It is very, very mean-spirited. It’s not like she’s in his apartment. He’s in her apartment.” He goes on to say that he has sent Kelly threatening emails and said that he wanted to make her life misery.
What made matters even worse, is that Stefanov didn’t even show up to the court hearing scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, which means it will be postponed until June 8. Hayes told Extra, “He’s not ready. He didn’t show up. The guy didn’t come. We came. He didn’t. What can I tell ya? If he doesn’t show up from now till then [June 8th], they’ll dismiss the case. It’s not a real case. He just wants to make her life uncomfortable.”
The Real Housewife, of course, is most concerned about her children having to go through all of this, which she expressed inthis comment to Extra:”It’s not really about me. It’s about my girls. My girls don’t need to be exposed to something like this. It’s really inappropriate — I don’t want to speak ill of anyone. That’s not who I am. I don’t want to do that.”
